Well, the weekend proved to be very relaxing. After weeks of illness and the lack of sleep, it was a welcomed change of pace.
On Thursday, Kamran had his first baseball game. Although it was a little chilly still it was fun. He had a great time. And Jaan talked Alllie into taking him over to the playground during the game. In the past she has always volunteered to help the coaches of the boys teams in all of their sports, so I think that Jaany really felt he had accomplished something with that.
Saturday I had the chance to spend some time with Kamran, just the two of us. We've not done that for quite some time. We played video games and had pizza at Costco. We both had a great time.
Saturday night and Sunday were spent watching movies. As a family we watched "Beverly Hills Chihuahua" and "Marley and Me". And Saj and I saw "Yes, Man". I enjoyed all of the shows, but I think the Chihuahua movie was a bit much for Saj. LOL

Earth Day

Today we planted some flowers in our back yard in honor of Earth Day, which was yesterday, of course.  The kids had a great time planting together with their friend Chloe, whom they spent the better part of their day with. LOL Tonight we'll be off to Kamran's first baseball game of the season, assuming the weather holds out.  He's very excited, especially now that he is feeling so much better. Saj will be coming home from his latest business trip tomorrow and we are all missing him terribly. It's always an adjustment when business gets him traveling so much.
I hope that you all had a wonderful Earth Day. And we should all try to remember that "Everyday is Earth Day" as Kamran reminded me yesterday. I'm really proud to see how aware they are and how responsible they do try to be in terms of "saving" our planet.

Oh and by the way, the photos on the top are of when the boys decided to "rescue" some bouncy balls and yard toys from the window well. Which was a little bit harder to get out from than it was to get into.

Update

Well, things have been a bit interesting for us lately. While the kids have just begun their spring sports ( Softball for Allie and t-ball/coach pitch for the boys ) Saj has began to travel quite a bit with work. When Saj is in town he is helping out with Allie's softball team as their assistant coach. Allie is so proud to have him helping, and Saj is really cherishing the time together.
Both of the boys have spent the past week with a cough and a fever, therefore, I've been very busy and certainly sleep deprived ;-)  But I thought I'd take a moment and put up some photos from the beach that we enjoyed from our last trip just before Easter.

Happy Birthday Jaany!!

Our most recent family photo. The kids and I were lucky enough to get to travel with Saj on his business trip to California the weekend of Jaan's birthday. Therefore, we took him to Disneyland to celebrate his birthday. We all had a blast!
